The pressure to constantly work

This is something much broader than CS, but I wanted to write a bit about this strange pressure I've been feeling lately.

I've noticed that when I have some free time, and I choose to spend it on something fun — like writing on this blog, for instance — I feel a little bit of guilt that I'm not doing something CS-related.

I guess the thought goes that I only have a finite amount of free hours, so every hour not spent getting ahead on CS is an hour "wasted".
